The IMX e4010 video encoders are designed to deliver high quality videos over IP even with bandwidth constraints. The IMX e4010 series live video encoder is designed to work with IMX i2410 live MatrixCast Streaming servers to streaming live videos over a private IP network or the Internet. IMX e4010 is optimized to work with MatrixStream's MatrixCast Streaming protocol.

Low-profile 1U rack-mounted design for reduced cost-per-channel

Minimal bandwith required is stream over the Internet: 500 Kbps to 750 Kbps for DVD quality videos. Recommended broadband connection speed is 2 times the minimal bandwidth. Ex. users should have 1.5+ Mbps broadband connection to stream DVD quality videos.

Work Seamlessly with IMX Server Series - IMX e4010 video encoders are optimized to support MatrixStream's MatrixCast Streaming protocol over the Internet. This means IPTV providers can stream full screen high quality videos even when there are bandwidth constraints. MatrixStream MatrixCast Streaming currently supports H.264 video codec only.

Deployment Diagram


The following is an example of how IMX e4010 IPTV SD video encoders are deployed in a live service provider environment. IMX e4010 video encoders are taking live satellite feeds and encodes the video into H.264 format. Once videos are encoded, streams are sent to IMX i2410 MatrixCast Streaming server for live streaming across the Internet. All the interactions between all the different servers are being managed by IMX M2200 middleware server.
