next generation IMX Video On Demand (VOD) solution
is a complete end-to-end platform for content providers to
deliver DVD- or HDTV-quality content over the existing IP network.
The MatrixStream IMX platform consists of Enterprise

MatrixStream's
unique IMX solution provides a simple, single-vendor
integrated solution (rather than a multi-vendor solution
with large integration costs as well as potential compatibility
issues). The only requirements to deploy this IPTV solution
are an IP network and video content. MatrixStream's easy-to-deploy
servers and clients are designed to save time as well as implementation
and support costs.
The
MatrixStream IMX solution consists the following:
-
MatrixCast Streaming
over the Internet technology

client software (ICS)
-
Multi-layer
content security (MCS) delivered in a Secure System Platform
-
Rich

-
Complete HD over the Internet IPTV solution
-
Uses “best-of-breed” licensed
MPEG 4 codecs
-
Designed
based on industry standards, which means customers will
always have an upgrade path to the latest standards.
The following is an example of a real live deployment diagram for a service provider IPTV solution over the Internet. This is exactly how IPTV middleware servers are deployed in a real network backbone. The system is fully capable of supporting both live and VOD HD and SD video content.
