The MatrixStream's
end-to-end solution means customers don't have to spend millions
of dollars to build a complicated multi-vendor solution. All
customers need in order to deploy this state of the art IPTV
VOD solution is to have an IP network and video contents. MatrixStream's
easy to deploy servers and clients will save customers money,
time and support costs.
The IMX technology consists of MatrixStream MatrixCast Streaming technology,
video programming and delivery server, intelligent client software (ICS),
multi-layer content security (MCS) delivered in a Secure System Platform
and rich media content management software (EDMMS). IMX platform uses best of breed licensed MPEG 4
codecs. The IMX™ technology is designed based on industry standards,
which means customers will always have an upgrade path to the latest standards.
The
network diagram below shows an example of IMX live IPTV and VOD streaming over the Internet
deployment. IMX M500 is able to manage live TV broadcasts by
encode satellite videos into IP videos using IMX e4010 video
encoders and stream videos over the "best effort" IP network
using IMX MatrixCast 2400 series streaming servers. Viewers also have full
access to videos stored in a Storage Area Network (SAN). Subscribers
of the IPTV VOD system can view videos on their TVs with MX 1 STB clients and on their multimedia PCs with their MX 1100 PC
Video
