MatrixStream Technologies, Inc., (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) understands the importance of our Customer’s (“Customer”, “You”, “Your”) privacy and we want you to know how we use information collected about you through our website.  Please note this is a legally binding Agreement (i.e. “Agreement”) between us.   Please read these terms carefully: it governs our relationship along with how we collect and use information about you and others.

Information We Collect From Customers

When you register for an account, we will collect your username, password, email address, contact, shipping, and billing information.

Although we are not currently using cookies, we also may also collect: browser settings and location/region/country.  None of the information we collect gives us access to your computer at any time.

We typically collect data from our customers related to their account and billing information to better serve their needs. We commit to never sell or share your information to any third party.  If we ever decide to change this policy, it will be uploaded and shared on our website.  Please see our “Privacy Policy” page for additional information.

Any and all data collected is kept in-house by our Company, and is used only by our staff for: record keeping; marketing; advertising; market research; and analytics.

Customers can access their account at any time, and are encouraged to do so to keep their contact information and personal profile current.

“Cookies”

A “cookie” is a small file stored within your computer’s hard drive that allows companies to track a visitor’s browsing habits. Cookies also remember visitor’s personal preferences.  It allows companies to identify how their website is being used for marketing purposes. By tracking viewing habits, a company can modify their website and services to improve their customer’s experience.

We are not currently using cookies, but if we decide to change this policy in the future, Notices will be uploaded and displayed upon our website along with the effective date.

Promotional Emails and Special Offers

When you create an account and become one of our customers, you automatically give us permission to send you promotional emails. These may include and are not limited to:

*  Emails and notices regarding special offers, sales, or promotions regarding our products, goods, or services;

*  Emails to confirm registration; verify orders; request more information; or provide customer support;

* You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails at any time by contacting our customer service department here or by clicking the “unsubscribe link” provided at the bottom of each and every email.

You understand that our company has no control over third party websites, privacy policies, terms of use, or how they collect information about you.

Online vs. Offline Policy

This Privacy Policy only applies to information we collect from our Customers through our website.  It does not apply to data we have or may collect about you offline by way of:  direct mail; flyers; polls; surveys; and/or phone calls.

If you believe at any time that the personal information we have is not correct or incomplete, please contact us here.  We will quickly change and modify any information that is incorrect.

Privacy Policy Changes

We may decide to change, alter, or modify our Privacy Policy at any time.  If we decide to change or update our Privacy Policy, or the manner in which we collect, use, or share your personal information, we will upload notice(s) on our website along with the effective date of any changes.

Security Measures

We use a variety of security measures to keep your personal information safe.  In order to prevent unauthorized access, your personal information is securely stored on third party servers which are private and confidential. This information is accessed only by our staff.   All credit card and payment details for product orders and subscriptions are processed through PayPal. All of your confidential payment information is transferred via PayPal’s secure servers.   We do not store credit card information or details.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, excluding conflicts of law provisions. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, or invalid, the unenforceable or invalid provision shall be deemed modified to the least extent necessary to become legal and enforceable and no other provisions affected thereby.

Any and all disputes regarding these terms shall be resolved in a professional and business-like manner, absent resolution, disputes shall be resolved by binding mediation, located in San Mateo County, California, with the parties agreeing to share the cost and choice of a third party mediator.  The prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement of any and all costs and fees, including but not limited to attorney’s fees.
